Dear Friend in Christ,

We're excited you have chosen to take a spiritual adventure with us as we read through a large portion of the Holy Scriptures in 2025! Here are a few things to keep in mind.

Each day has three Bible readings...

  • The first reading is a chapter from the New Testament.
  • The second reading is from the Old Testament, including selections from the Poetry Books and the Major and Minor Prophets.
  • The third reading is from the books of Psalms and Proverbs. These readings are generally quite short and are great for personal prayers and reflections.

You're welcome to read one, two, or all three of the readings every weekday. If you fall behind, don't worry! You can either use the weekends to catch up or you can simply dive into the reading for that day, even if you've missed a few days, weeks, or even months! Don't let some time away from this program stop you from reading God's Word. If you want additional resources, you can visit Concordia.cc.

Remember God's promise as you read His Word:

"So is My word that goes out from My mouth: It will not return to Me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." (Isaiah 55:11)

May God's Word accomplish its purposes in you and remind you of God's promises to you.
